Nevis Associates has been using FileMaker for over 16 years and has experience in custom databases for general business, event scheduling, sales, sales forecasting, demo tracking (asset management), and inventory management.

Nevis Associates is an active member of the FileMaker Business Alliance with FileMaker 10 and FileMaker 9 certification.

Allan Mowat, President/Owner

Allan Mowat received a B.Sc. with honors from Robert Gordon’s Institute of Technology in Aberdeen, Scotland and is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Allan is one of the first in the world to achieve FileMaker 10 certification.

Starting his career as a design engineer for Marconi Space and Defense Systems and for the first 12 years of his career he gained experience as an applications engineer, software developer for automated test equipment, and sales support engineer while traveling the world.

During the last 20 years, Allan has held sales and development positions from Sales Engineer to North American Sales Manager. Gaining expertise in dealing with small businesses with limited budgets, as well as working with Major National and International companies that have purchased multi-million dollars worth of product. Allan’s background has allowed him to b
ecome knowledgeable on a wide variety of customer business requirements including sales, service, support, and manufacturing.
